Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vidly, operated by VidyaDaily. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

2. Using Vidly

Vidly gives you access to a catalogue of books, an AI reading assistant, quizzes, and a points-based rewards program. Some content and AI usage limits depend on your plan (Free, Standard, or Premium).

Don't use Vidly to upload, share, or generate content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or violates the rights of the authors and publishers whose books appear in the catalogue.

3. AI features

Vidly's AI reading assistant can make mistakes. Responses are generated by a third-party AI model and are provided for reference and discussion — don't treat them as a substitute for professional, religious, or academic advice.

4. Points & rewards

Points are earned through reading, quizzes, streaks, and other in-app activity as described in the app, and can be redeemed for rewards listed in the app at the time of redemption. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and may be adjusted if we find evidence of fraudulent or automated activity.

5. Buying physical books

Where the app shows a way to buy a physical or hardcopy edition of a book, tapping it takes you to the publisher's, author's, or a marketplace's (e.g. Amazon, Flipkart) own website to complete the purchase. That purchase — pricing, payment, shipping, returns — is between you and that seller under their own terms. Vidly is not a party to that transaction.

6. Content & intellectual property

Books, cover art, and other catalogue content remain the property of their respective authors, publishers, and rights holders. The Vidly app, its branding, and its software are the property of VidyaDaily.

7. Account deletion & termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including fraudulent points activity or abuse of the AI chat feature.

8. Disclaimers

Vidly is provided “as is.” We work to keep the app reliable but don't guarantee it will be error-free or available without interruption.

9. Changes to these terms

We'll update the “Last updated” date above when these terms change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
